I was an 18-year-old when I started to hear the slogan “Free Mandela†. At that time I did not know exactly who was this man whose name I used to hear frequently.
Today that is history but his life to me is a moving experience, for I have managed to take an active role in mass rallies calling for human rights in various forms. This is just a reflection of how I was thrilled when I saw this man through a television after his release.
