Not long ago, The Express published a story about a discovery it had made, through investigation, of fake tomato sauce and counterfeit versions of the anti-biotic Tetracycline in the country. The well-researched story gave an insight into the severity of the problem of fake and substandard products that flooded the local market, thanks to our unguided policy of trade liberalization.
